I created the program. What kind of settings would you like to change? If you want to change the values of the players, you can do so by editing the projection files.

… on other thing, if you are talking about changing the league configuration, you can create a new league configuration from the drop down menu. Tools->Create New League

hey, how about an option for keeper leagues, where you can input the keepers for each team and draft from there
Steve, that option is already there. What you need to do is after you load your league config files, go to the drop down menu and load a “Draft Board”. File->Open->Draft Board
You need to make sure that you have already entered your keeper picks on to the appropriate teams and save that off as a partially completed draft. Then in your draft board file (.dsc extension) you then order the remaining draft picks. You can even have certain teams picks skipped in any given round or two picks in the same round. It’s totally configurable from this “draft board” import file. An example of one of these import files is found with the installation. Look for the .dsc file. It’s an ascii file and would look something like this.

0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11
4,7,9,10,11
0,4,5,7,8,9,11
Each line represents a draft round. In this 12 team league 0=Team 1 and 11= Team 12 (0 is the offset).
In the first round all teams are picking
In the second round Teams 4,7,9,10,11 are picking etc…
Once you load this import file, set your bench size to the appropriate size, because if the number of picks in your import file does not equal your player universe size minus players already picked, then it won’t work properly when a team tries to draft it’s 28th player when it only has a roster size of 27.

thanks, i’ve been looking for something like that for a while, works pretty good. Another question. how do i input my own rankings…..there are some problems with the ones already there, such as spelling errors, and weird values, like jamie shields going near the end of the draft

If you want to change the rankings and are using the ‘Computer’ rankings then you need to modify the projections file.
Another option is to use your own rankings file that is not based on projections, but just based on rankings based on a certain order that you want to use. You can do this by importing your own rankings file.
After loading your draft, from the drop down menu.
Tools->Player Rankings->Load From File
an example rankings file comes with the program, it is called ‘YahooPreRankings.txt”
You can edit and modify this file or rename it to something else, saving the original file and using that as your rankings import file. The file is formatted something like this.
Alex,Rodriguez
Hanley,Ramirez
Jose,Reyes
Albert,Pujols
David,Wright
and of course continues on until you’ve ranked all the players you feel may get drafted. I recommend using and renaming the one I give you, then changing the rankings to fit your needs. Follow the same format Last Name comma First Name. Make sure that the players name is spelled the same as in the projections file, otherwise it won’t recognize that player. You can find out which players names are spelled incorrectly if you run through a draft and see some very good players that never got drafted.
